Our Store is now here!!
We started with a new
building, which meant we did all
the improvements, but with a
little help from family and
friends we have a true Show
Case and we have brought
other artists along for the ride.
NewCreations too!
The first step was the bathroom plumbing and pouring the cement in the bathroom
area then getting up the walls for the office and the bath area. The next step was
putting air-conditioning up then all of that insulation needed to be covered up, we
decided to use dropcloths which worked out well. After we got all that fabric up we
needed to paint, 27 gals later Oscar looked like one of the group from Las Vegas
since the ceiling is blue. Next came the walls inside the store for hanging, we had the
best framing and drywall guys in our area, and while Oscar helped the guys, I spent
most of my time running to hardware stores for more of whatever they needed, and also
running for food to keep them going.

Once the walls were up, we all started painting, Desiree, just
back from a 3 month study abroad program (in Barcelona,
Spain) started in on the main wall, Sandy, Lisa,Jenn, Katie
and I worked on the bath, office and other walls and we also
had Lisa Bryant one of our areas finest faux painters,
working her wonders on our soffit and several walls. While we
girls were busy painting Oscar and Sergio were busy making
the lighting for over our desk, we had our glass blower make
us the shades and it looks beautiful!!

As we got to the
final finishing Lisa
got to do what she
does best although
an artist in her right
she loves to do
florals, so we left
that to her.
The carpet was quite a job to
get in but my guys were on top
of it!

Where is Oscar you ask? Off
trying to make money to pay for
all of this! Which is why I am here
doing our Ribbon Cutting at the
store and he is out getting the
honers at the shows.
We have had several of our
friends from Northern Cal, and as
far away as Nev and Az come to
pay us a visit and we are truly
honored at each visit from our
dear clients

We have Miss Murrieta, Chamber members, Sandy is over my right
shoulder and my sister Jackie to my right( who has also been helping with
data input into the point of sale), and Lisa Bryant over my left shoulder
who did such a wonderful job on the painting overhead
